Canadian Friends Service Committee is governed by a Board of Directors of 22 people from across Canada, all are members or attenders of a Quaker Meeting within Canadian Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), the “national church” body, which appoints members for three-year, renewable (once) terms (seven people per year, plus a representative from the Canadian Young Friends Yearly Meeting).

The New Member Orientation package (February 2012) and a one-page summary document about board service are posted here  for those Friends considering service as well as the Nominating Committees within Canadian Yearly Meeting. The Orientation Package includes the CFSC Board of Directors’ Terms of Reference (2010).
