February 10, 2022On January 15 the Office of the Wet’suwet’en held a Peace and Unity Gathering to discuss the ongoing challenges in the protection of their human rights in northern BC. Many Nations came and spoke to the need for respect for Indigenous governance, particularly with regard to resource development on Indigenous territories. CFSC’s Indigenous Rights Program Coordinator Jennifer Preston and associate member Paul Joffe were invited to send a pre-recorded video in support of the event:
