Canadian Friends Service Committee continues to be appalled by the needless and brutal suffering we’re witnessing in Gaza. Quaker agencies globally have joined to denounce this genocide and urgently call for actions that would benefit all in the region. We continue to share our concerns with Canadian officials and to encourage Canadian Quakers to do the same. We’ve joined in statements with fellow Quaker agencies, with labour, faith, Arab, Jewish, and civil society organizations, and with interfaith (Muslim, Jewish, and Christian) groups.
In addition to raising our voices, we’ve partnered with our sister Quaker service agency American Friends Service Committee. AFSC has staff on the ground in Gaza and has reached more than one million people in Gaza with lifesaving aid.
