CFSC welcomes new Indigenous Rights Program Coordinator Sarah Bear!
July 20, 2026CFSC is pleased to release two new resources to support trans and gender-diverse inclusion. Primarily aimed at Quakers, these resources contain information that may be useful to a wider audience as well. Both are available as PDFs.
The first document is an open letter about current experiences of trans and gender-diverse Quakers in Canada and what Friends can do to promote inclusion. It also shares queries for reflection and a draft Minute of Record that Quaker Meetings can use as a starting point when they’re ready to make a formal call for the care and inclusion of trans and gender-diverse people.
The second document is a double-sided handout with a list of resources for spiritual reflection, to learn about biology, and to understand what being an “ally” means.
